Members of this ministry are more experienced alter servers/leaders, and help direct the liturgical action. His/Her role is to assure that the liturgical rites proceed as planned, with everybody in place and doing their part. Here at St. Elizabeth, the M.C. also acts as the Crucifer (Cross bearer) in the opening and closing procession, as well as during the procession of the gifts. Masters of Ceremony are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before their assigned mass. Trainings are held throughout the year.
